Excellent rendition of ice cold drinks for this 90 degree Texas heat! I do not see a description of the art project but I can comment on your accuracy in capturing a realistic piece of art. Teagan! This is a beautiful example of Mexican folk art. Living here in San Antonio, Texas, I see this art all the time, especially on tile. You learned the story behind this colorful art theme and you created a perfect piece of Mexican art! You put a lot of thought and creativity into your project. How pretty! I do not see a description but it appears that your assignment was to use paper (crepe paper?) folded into different shapes to create a life-like piece of art. You did a very detailed job on your wreath! I like everything about the artwork but I especially like the way the paper is folded to create the ribbon. Creative! Great design! I am impressed and I like it very much! It seems fancy free and flowing as if you let your pen follow what you were feeling. The contrast is interesting. My thought is that you let the black and white contrast blend so that one area does not favor the other and the entire design is taken into consideration. Very imaginative!
