Hi Mary, Glad to see you are still doing art work. It has been a while since I have viewed any of it. I am not sure what this represents, although I read your dad's comment about a tile. Will be interested in seeing the finished project. Good luck this weekend. Love you, Grandma.

this is cool, mary! i wonder if your art teacher told you where this house is.... we actually drove by this farm when we were in Maine last fall! The Wyeths did a lot of art work in Maine; and we've also been to the gallery in Chadd's Ford, PA where all three generations of Wyeths have their art exhibited. The Christina girl looks like Mary!!! Pretty nifty! We love you! keep up the good work! aunt eb

another fine painting, Mary! I like the tinting and highlighting you used in the "blue dog!" I like the contrast of the dog with the various bright patterns in the border. I especially like the spirals on the bottom and the ladders on the left, which remind me of filmstrips or film negatives interspersed with dots. Have a great week in school and keep on creating art! ...and remember, I love you xoxoxoxoxoxo aunt eb

I loved all the raindrops too! and the texture in the background gives your art real depth - Way to Gogh!!! As always, we love getting updates on your new artwork! And the fact that it came to me on my birthday is even more special! I agree with your art statement - I also believe that art can be anything I want! How did you get the face design on your art? Is it computer generated, or did you actually paint it? Today I got to have a lunch party with my art friends - we mostly just get together to chat and do show and tell of our artwork, but sometimes we actually have workshops where we teach each other how to do cool stuff! Hugs to you, sweetie, and keep up the good work. we love you! xo aunt eb and uncle rob

Hi Mary! before your artwork was fully downloaded on my computer (and still fuzzy) I thought it was a giant baked potato! Is the Lomax a character from a Dr. Seuss book? He looks familiar! hi mary! uncle rob and i enjoyed your new art work! The color is well balanced and we noticed that you did use complementary colors - red with green, blue with orange, and yellow with purple. That is a good lesson to learn in artwork. It looks like the background is woven paper strips, but I'm not sure how you got the shapes on top - maybe you'll share your techniques with us! keep on making art! we love you! a. eb and u. rob
