Anna, Hmmmm.... I see a happy girl in the foreground, but who is that dark figure in the background? It looks like someone is a little bent over with a hunchback and a shawl or cape? Only the shadow knows. I see a staircase.... and someone at the top of the stairs....there is a lot going on here.... perhaps when you come over to drop off your Girl Scout cookies to me, you can let me know who the girl is and what room she is in and who the mysterious figure is in the background. Good job.... aunt Karen

Hello Miss Anna.... how are you?....well I see you've done a pretty good job with your fish in a bag...I like the colors you chose for his stripes and is that a blue arm grabbing the bag? I noticed you did a really good job at drawing that ribbon and bow that ties the bag to keep the fish and water from pouring out....you thought of everything I see !!! Great job! Keep it up!! Hi Anna!.....Just want to give you a high five on this picture of your hand and arm...looks very anatomically correct....noticed you paid attention to detail as to where to place the knuckles ....many an artist, such as Michaelangelo and DaVinci studied the anatomy of the human body so as to make their paintings and sculptures realistic.....keep up the good work you are doing on all the fine detail!..aunt Karen

Hi Anna, Great job on your snowflake mitten. Really liked Your placement of the different patterns you created The snowflake on the top of your mitten works in so well with the colors and Patterns you made. The gray background with the soft snowflakes really make your mitten stand out. I think this is one of your best art creations! Keep it up ! Love , Nona Jeannie

HI Anna, What an impressive looking monster you drew. I like your monster because it doesn't look scary...it looks friendly to me and cute! Did you give your monster a name? How about Pinkie? I bet you can think of a better name than that. Keep up the good work Anna. Nona, Jeannie

Well.... who is this?.... Hmmm... is this a pink hippopotamus with a red hat? Or a blushing rhinosaurus? Or perhaps it is a pink elephant who has joined the red hat society?..... or maybe it is someone hot from being out in the sun and they got a sun burn?.....I like the fact that they are winking ? Who is this?.... this picture is very colorful and created a lot of interesting curiosity! And sometimes in art, creating curiosity can keep the onlookers " buzzing". Keep up the good work! love, Aunt Karen

Anna, that is one of the most real looking spiders I have ever seen drawn on paper. I actually thought I saw him or her crawling across the spider web. I loved the way you position the spiders legs. It gives the illusion of movement. Very interesting. Keep it up Anna.

Anna, How creative. The lollipop looks so three dimensional I think I could grab it off the paper and have a swirly taffy tasting lollipop to eat. Excellent Anna. Keep up the good work. Love, Nona Jeannie

Anna, this is my favorite art project you have done so far. I love the building with the snow covered roof. Speaking of snow, how did you get the snow to look like diamond crystals? Is that a snow angel next to the building? I also love the purple background that you choose..it really makes the snow pop. Keep up the good work. I’m proud of you, Anna.
