Ava...this is a great piece! The eyes were the first thing I saw...and then I thought, "What are those? Chocolate bars? Yep, they're chocolate bars!" How cool! I had to enlarge it because I thought I saw Ava-cado. And there she was...Ava-cado! It seems like I also see guitars and Nike Swooshes. It's a Day of the Dead skull that is full of life and fun stuff!

Ava, I like your details on your skull. I like the addition of chocolate bars. The eyes ar big and pretty. What did you use for this artwork? It looks like it could glow in the dark.

Ava, as I look at your artwork, I feel like I am walking through this aquarium. I might be feeling a little anxious walking towards that hammerhead shark! I really like the checkerboard floor you made. Did this assignment make you think of our trip to Newport Aquarium?
