Logan, I had to look up the definition of biome to understand what your art work was supposed to depict. I think your drawing is fantastic and that your tiger is the right size. I loved your comments describing what you were trying to draw and think that you did a great job not only explaining everything, but also drawing. Your picture of the rainforest and the tiger shows a great understanding of what a biome is all about. You artwork has progressed so much this year. Logan, This reminds me of a crabby cat whose tail just got stepped on and isn't very happy about it. I love the bulging eyes and the sharp teeth. I can hear the high pitched scream coming out of his wide open mouth. Your drawings have progressed so much just this year alone. Don't know what grade you are getting in art, but I've shared your work with art teachers from the high school I retired from and they agree with me that you definitely are talented. Logan, Had to hunt for an older e-mail I got showing your art work as I have not received any new ones recently. Found a way to finally get to them and saw this picture that you did of Dr. Martin Luther King with his "I had a Dream" speech. I was alive back when he did this speech originally. He spoke of wanting to change the world and bring peace and equality for all people regardless of their color. Your portrait of Dr. King and his words/ideas came out beautiful. Logan, As much as I love the picture you drew of yourself I think that you are way more handsome than you showed. From the picture I gather that you like robots and space invaders. Is that a space dog behind the guy with the ray-gun? I do love the way you colored the eyes. They are such a beautiful blue just like yours. Keep up the good work. Logan, I love you picture. It reminds me of home in NYC with all the tall buildings and even the bridge. I love the fact that you drew Superman in the picture. It reminds me of when you were little living in Hawaii with Momma and Daddy. Daddy would make a humming sound, hold you up in the air and say Superman and you would smile, laugh and make believe that you were flying and a super hero. Just ask Daddy I bet he remembers too. Logan, I love your drawing. It reminds me of the flowers that grow on dogwood trees. Dogwood trees play a big part during the Easter season. Next time you go to Sunday school ask the teacher to tell you the story of the dogwood tree. Your picture makes me happy to know that Spring is almost here. I can't wait to enjoy the warm weather it will hopefully bring.
