Laughter is a wonderful thing to be grateful for, Ruby. It’s something we often overlook. Beautiful work!

Ruby, your art is getting more and more sophisticated! I can't wait until we can go back and sketch at the MFA in Boston and explore all the other cool art in the city. I have a list of awesome stuff lined up for the next Grammy Camp!

Dear Ruby, It seems that this happy Kitty-person loves everything from Tea to Mice. She could grab the mouse by the tail and dunk it in the tea and then stir the mixture with the fish or the pencil. Yum! Opah

I think Ruby would like the paintings of Juan Miro. I'm wondering if that famous Spanish painter made pictures something like this when he was 10 years old.

Most of Ruby's art is whimsical and colorful, but this painting is more subtle. It is both abstract and realistic, suggesting a setting sun, a sunset sky, and a tree already in darkness. Well done, Ruby!

I love the contrast between the dark sharp outline and the soft gradations of color of what I take to be a sunrise sky. The dark shape could either be a desert plant or it might be the paw of a monster who is warming his paw in the sunlight and the rising sun
