This is absolutely amazing! The color shading and detail feathers are superb.

Wonderful detail. Do you know anyone with green eyes? Approximately 3% of the world population has green eyes.

Lovely! How are you going choose which of your sweethearts to give this masterpiece to? Truly special. H&K LYS

Mamie, I love this one. I guess I missed seeing it last month. Great job!
Posted 3 years ago by Memmie
So much detail in this one. Love how the braid shows in her hair. Super.

How wonderfully realistic! Paper birch trees with snow covered ground and shadows from the sunset. Great coloring in the sky. Looks a lot like northern Minnesota near a lake. I can almost hear the loons calling from one lake to another. Thanks for the memories.

Lovely! And so appropriate for the season -- it is the reason for the season.

This lovely landscape popped up and I don't recall seeing it before. What a gorgeous mountain landscape. Magnificent!

These creatures are either a magical invention of your wonderful imagination, or lobsters. Love the colors and shading as well as the cute plant at the bottom. Very nice work.

I love flowers, and I love butterflies. Great colors. Can hardly wait for Spring to get to Wisconsin. Has your mom or dad ever told you about the butterflies at their wedding? The butterflies were uninvited, but gloriously welcome, perching on the flowers. (I have always wondered how your grandmother managed to make that happen.)

Such beautiful colors, Mamie! I think I've found my next magnet.

I love the colors, and the shading! Great work. Hope you enjoyed making this picture as much as I enjoy looking at it. H&K LYS

Ooo... I am just seeing this for the first time. What an interesting take on a Christmas tree. So modern.

Mamie, I love this landscape-- especially the purple shadowing under the mountain. Great work!

Oh my goodness! Looks good enough to eat. Very realistic.

Lovely Easter eggs! Nice selection of colors. Much prettier than any I have ever seen (or made myself).
Posted 5 years ago by Marilyn
Lovely colors! That is definitely a red fox. Foxes are pretty animals and their fur is long and fluffy; I can see that in your picture. Nice job.

Mamie-- Love this fox! I really like how it pops against the purple background. Good job!

This is awesome Mamie! I love the colors— super crafty!

That is really cute. Autumn colored leaves blowing in the wind add a very special touch. Most of the leaves here in Wisconsin have fallen already and we have been raking and blowing them to the curb for pickup. Some of the neighborhood children have piles of leaves in their yards and are having a good time jumping into the piles.

Look! Mamie's Garden with a big red barn. The cows must be in the back field. I especially like the lines on the side of the barn to show the siding, and the roof detail for the shingles. Very nice.
Posted 6 years ago by Marilyn
Delightful polar bear! We still have snow here in Wisconsin and it is very cold -- your bear would like it. (I am ready for Spring but am trying to be patient.)

I love it. Great job.

However did you make a perfectly shaped heart? Maybe one day you can show me your secret. Outstanding!

I have never seen The Nutcracker, but if your drawing of one of the characters is as pretty as the production, I would like to see it. Super!

Your owl must be hiding in a tree -- maybe looking for dinner. Super!

This is very different from the other art works I have seen from you. Isn't it fun to try different things?

Lovely! Looks like you are exploring a new medium -- is that water color painting? The color blending is wonderful.

Looks like a new medium -- watercolor paint (?). Love how you blended the colors together. Very nice work.

Super! A gumball machine filled with tempting treats. If I could buy one, I think I would choose a black one because I just love black licorice. Or maybe a yellow one because I love lemon. Or maybe a green one because it looks like it is mint flavored. Oh … I just can't decide, they all look yummy.

Wonderful! Just last week I found a part of a robin's egg in the yard, which means there is a nest close by and a baby robin had hatched. The shell was exactly that lovely color of blue. I just love spring!
