When I saw the title "Mary Blair Castle Collage," I had to look up Mary Blair. Did you know she worked for Disney as an illustrator? She made lots of colorful art work for Disney. Did you use post-it notes to make this collage? Simple shapes and bright colors make a perfect castle! -- Mimi Judy

I can see that the colors here have been lightened which makes the details show up better. Your blue crayon looks like a well-loved and well-used crayon! The blue label looks like it came from a pair of jeans. Is blue your favorite color? I bet orange is one of your favorite colors, too! -- Mimi Judy

I like this version with darker shades of the blue and orange! Did you know that blue is a cool color (like ice) and orange is a warm color (like fire)? I think using cool and warm colors together makes your art lively! Nice job, Audrey! :-) -- Judy

This lion looks a bit like Simba from the Lion King! I like the background because it is not a solid orange, and I can see different shades like grown-up artists would do - it makes the lion in the center look he could be in a very warm spot, like in a desert maybe. -- Mimi Judy
