This project looked fun to do — cover the rubber fish in paint and then press on paper to make a legible design. Pretty green to color in the fish. Looking forward to seeing this in person and feeling the designs!

Caviar + chocolate milk — this is the greatest! I like the simplistic designs of the two items that you did and how they look patterned across the paper. It’s a story very specific to you and I love it!

This little guy is so cute! I love how different each part of him is. His feet, ears/horns, tail… a fun little animal. Can’t wait to see it in person!

Caviar!! I really love the gradients of green you used here and how you connected some letters, using only straight lines too. Very original, just like you:)

The design you created for this window is very eye catching. The areas that you colored and the various shapes you used make this a window I’d love to look at all day!

I’m astounded by your creativity + bursting of colors and depth in this art piece, Xavier. It’s so cool how each has its own color with dark and light, and different geometric designs on each. I love it!

Your detail of your skin and shape of your nails is very well done and feels accurate to your hands. Fantastic job!!

This city scape is so original + inventive. I love it! The smiley face, the Bart Simpson-esche building, to the puzzle piece that looks like he’s got his arm around his building friend. This one is jazzy.

This is the first piece of art that I’ve seen in person vs a picture, and I really like this one! The pattern and spacing you did balances out for your eye to focus on the cool shape you turned it into.

Xavier, this shoe portrait with symbol in the background (freckled angels) is really awesome work. I love how you drew Ren’s black shoes + colorful socks. Very realistic. The blue and the yellow look great together for a nice sharpie/watercolor piece:)

Your comic strip is so visually appealing, I couldn’t wait to read it! The way their straight, defined bodies + outfits stay consistent with a change in background per strip, make it easy to follow. Great way to show how patience + a conversation can lead to positive interactions:)

Your use of lines and color really give this black and white drawing depth! All the different sections are defined and it feels like they’re built on top of each other. Very cool!

Xavier, this pinch pot is the most awesome thing! After seeing the drawing first, and now a picture of the real thing — great job with all of the details in 3D. Great complimentary colors + shapes.

This POP art is super eye catching… Quack! Love the bright blue, green + yellow you chose to make this word stand out. That little ducky is cute + perfectly positioned like he’s saying the word.

The colors you picked for the planets really make them feel like they’re jumping off the page! The dark space with stars gives the effect of the open wide atmosphere.

The different sizes and overlapping objects really make this feel like space because of the dimension you created. Great detail on different planets!
