I love all your bright colors Kathryn. The rainbow picture made me smile, even though the rain can be gloomy your creativity brought me joy, I laughed to think of you falling asleep sitting up and your frightened picture scared me but then caused me laugh- to think of your hair standing straight up like that!!! How interesting to see how many different emotions you generated for me. Thank you. :) I love you.

Kathryn, Look at all of those pretty buildings! So many colors, and so many windows , and so many smiles! Is that a cat building that I see? The building with fangs is kind of scary. I think I will stay out of that part of time!

Kathryn, You sure look happy, happy, happy in this art project. And, we see your Packer reference right there at the top of the page.We will have to ask you what else is going on in this picture when we see you again. For instance, is that a worm on the lower right part of the picture? Keep up the great work, Kathryn. We miss you more than we can say.

Kathryn, these aren't bugs they're MICE. I'm sorry I missed that detail. I hope we don't catch them in the traps. They're too pretty! Love ya, Mama xox

Kathryn, I think you have found something very valuable. It looks like real cave work that was probably produced a long time ago- like maybe last week. I liked that you were able to use multiple media to create your”find”. Clay, and magic markers as well as paint. You did a great job making a realistic piece of cave art!

Kathryn, Oooooh, such pretty flowers. And, I like the spacing you used to get so many flowers on the page. And, are those spider webs in between the flowers. We just love to see what creation you have come up with week to week. Best wishes,

Kathryn, It is pretty funny seeing this piece of art work on line, then to see it is real life at your home, and now, to see it again on line! It is like the monsters are following me. You did a good job of showing different emotions on your creatures and that isn’t easy to make a smiling monster. Keep up the great work. Aunt Peggy and Grunkle Les are very proud of you!

Kathryn, After looking at your most recent art project I scrolled back and found your other art projects and found this one of a hot air ballon. It is so pretty and colorfuland I like that you drew it at an angle to show that the wind is blowing.Keep up the great work! -- Grunkle Les and Aunt Peggy

Kathryn, What a beautiful work of art you made including a fancy frame. I read the teacher's explanation of the process and it was very interesting how you made the circles first and then put cardboard between the circles to make ir 3-D. Great job! -- Grunkle Les and Aunt Peggy

OK, Kathryn- I think you did this after St. Patrick’s day so that isn’t the reason for the green. And, I think you did it after the first day of spring so that isn’t the reason for the green. So, you either had the green measles after you left Green Bay or you are “green with envy” . -- Grunkle Les

Kathryn, I really like this one. Did your brain hurt when you were done from thinking SO hard about all the pretty things to put in your picture? Is that the St. Louis arch? And, a mountain in the background? And, a checker board in the pea patch? Very cool! P. S. Happy birthday! -- Grunkle Les

Kathryn, What a good job you are doing with your art projects! At first, when I saw this one I thought it was Skyler ‘s from last year. But the closer I looked I could see that it was similar but definitely your own work! I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise that your work would be similar because, after all, you are related! P.S. Happy birthday! -- Grunkle Les
