I was very impressed by this work. Looks like Drake could have used this for his album cover. The contrast grabs your attention. Using the song lyrics to sculpt the face is very cool.

This is so cool! I like the colors that you have chosen because the yellow and blue sharply contrast each other. I love the form and shape of your lettering. If I ever need a poster made, I know who to go to. Lol You should give that to Grandpa Neil.

Man, your reflection/artist statement really sold me on this. It helped me understand and appreciate the painting more. Not that it isn't cool on it's own- just like Kim, you're making us see something we tend to take for granted in a different way. Well done.

Excellent! Way to simplify & stylize. You have a good eye & a great instinct for design. One of my favorites, maybe one of the top two in the eighth grades. Very cool. I can totally see a school district using this, maybe with very minor adjustments. Outstanding.

Don’t be disappointed. I knew instantly it was a cactus and traffic cone. I really like the contrast in colors. You did a good job with distributing the dots to give dimension to both objects.

Great job on this latest creation! In Bugs Bunny cartoons, Bugs always popped up in random locations, so showing up in the American Gothic painting is a neat concept. I like the straight lines on the house. Don’t worry about the window being crooked - old farmhouses are rarely square. Lol.
