This mask is so cool! I’m not surprised you knocked it out of the park on this project.

This is a beautiful image. I especially love your artist statement and how it describes the art as an illustration of self-worth. Excellent job.

Great work, Charlie. You have really mastered the use of values in giving a painting depth. And you told an important story with the snow people melting in the warming temperatures. I especially like the way you created your shadows behind the snow people and in the area fartherest from the sun.

This is truly a lovely piece. Like you, I enjoy abstract work and not knowing just how something is going to look. Your colors are beautiful and the "spider web" adds such interest and intrigue. Great job.

Charlie: I love your pop art pencil sculpture! Pop art is such a fun and creative genre and you have captured its playfulness perfectly. I am a fan of Andy Warhol and this piece reminds me of his work. Great job! You are a really great artist.

I would love to live in the Color-Verse! This is a beautiful use of pastels and really shows your knowledge of shape and color. I love the purple planets the most. Great work!

What a wonderful piece of art! I love printmaking and you have used the medium so creatively here. I can imaging dancing on this ballroom floor in a swirly dress. Great work!

I love this painting. That wave is really gonna smash whatever is in its way.

Loved this painting. I have been studying JMW Turner and it reminded me of his work. I could smell the salty air of the sea when I viewed this. You handled the assignment very well depicting the foreground, middle ground and background.

I really loved that you dared to do something different from everyone else. Cactus are one of my favorite subjects to paint or collage. So many interesting forms and details. You have done a great job weaving a lovely cactus shape and I love the desert colors in the background. Excellent job, Charlotte!

“UG” Two simple letters that nevertheless manage to encapsulate so much meaning. Juxtaposed against the forced grim and excessively widened eyes of our heroine as she once again dons her mask and super-suit to go out on adventures of crime-fighting daring-do. Ug. The words said by our subject as she undertakes the everyday banalities that keep world safe from those who would remove mattress tags or park their car on the wrong side of the street in the suburbs with an out-of-date city sticker. Ug. The same words the most common of us utter as the barista spells our name wrong on the double-skinny-vanilla-orange-decaf-low-fat-mocha that we have ordered every day for the last 12.8 years on our way to the low-wall cubicle ranch where we will inevitably forget to put cover pages on our TPS reports. Ug. The two letter that tells us that we are not so different. Whether super-hero, airplane washer, golf ball sorter or bull wrestler, we all eventually get to “UG”.

I love all your artwork but this heart really spoke to me. I ordered some cards to send to friends who need a little cheer in their lives and to tell them how much they mean to me. Keep making art!

This is an excellent self-portrait. They are very hard to do and you have captured the pretty, funny, sweet girl that you are. I love the background colors and pattern which highlight your blond hair. Good job, Charlotte!

Hi, Charlotte. I have been viewing your art gallery. I like all your work, but especially this one of the soup and place setting. You could print this on larger paper and make really pretty place mats for your table at home. Keep up the good work. Love, Linda
