Wow, you are still creating even though it is summer and you have so many other activities to occupy your time! I really like the graphics of both the anteater and the dolphin - good line repetition and color. Keep up the good work. Love, MiMi

Grayson - How interesting! I love that you chose a sport that you enjoy and that you noticed all the detail of the playing field. See, if you look closely enough you can find beauty in everything. I have enjoyed seeing all your artwork this year and hope that you will continue to create more pieces this summer. Love, MiMi

Hi Grayson -- Very interesting positive/negative images. The middle one is my favorite also, but I am curious about the initials on the right and have a question: because of the dark background it is difficult to see if there is an "M" behind the "P" and "G". If so, they are your initials and would make a very interesting penant or flag for your door!

This is my favorite so far! Excellent job on the middle panel...really grabs your attention! I also really like the negative space in the number 7.

Grayson -- I love it! The colors are wonderful and I like the direction the market is heading. I think this would make a great Tee Shirt for Uncle Doug, don't you?

Looks like your line just might catch "The Big Guy"! Good detail on the rod and reel.

Good Morning, Grayson -- What a nice way to start the day! I enjoyed seeing "Garcade" your latest artwork. You sure have come a long way from stick figures. I am guessing that might be you in the red shirt and glasses. You did a very good job on the proportions of the two figures and also the choice of skin tones -- not everybody has the same coloring. I am anxious for you to come and visit this summer. Besides the lake activities I have finally finished my craft room and EVERYTHING is ready and waiting for you -- paints, markers, etc. I know that you are going to come up with some super projects. Love, MiMi

That's a really good drawing of Yoda. Did you have a picture that was a guide or did you draw it from memory? I like your captioning as well! See you in a couple of days. MiMi

I LOVE this! The colors and the facial expression are so perfect. I dont know what Yoda looks like in the movie but I absolutely love this Yoda that you draw. I am looking forward to more artwork, never knew you liked to draw and had such talent, surprise, suprise!

Hi Grayson- How exciting to have a website where you can display your art work. I really like the colors you chose. I know how much you enjoy art and I will watch for your next project. Maybe you can come up with a project that we can work on together when I visit you at Christmas. I will see you in two weeks. Keep up the good work. Love, MiMi

Wow...what a great way to start your 8th grade art portfolio. Really like the color schemes you arranged and the accurate "blind" drawing of the logos (which are hard!)...it was a surprise to see it cut up in strips but it turns out I like it even more like that--it's got depth and is very interesting/appealing to the eye. Nicely done!
