This picture looks like something I've seen. With birds flying and tree looking happy, it must be summer.

Dear Alyx, I enjoyed the three circles in the square-edged shape and the textures of the cubes around. Laura is with me and we are enjoying your work. Love.

Very interesting color arrangements, Alyx! Can you imagine seeing a tiger in a very strange jungle looking at you like this? A jungle where the tree leaves are blue and red, so the tiger is camoflaged and can't be seen by his enemies? Keep up the good work, my wonderful young artist! Love, Dewey

Dear Alexandra, Thank your teacher for sending this! I much enjoyed the different size/shapes of yellow triangles as they move around. The same for the yellow ovals and dark purple triangles. The lighter/darker color also important as it moves around. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Alexy, I think the design of your work beautifully thought out- background squares work well or mix with round flowers. Color is interesting as it moves around and focuses brightly with kitty. Love, Bill

Alyx, you really do know how to convey three-dimensionality in your drawings. These give a feeling of light paper globes, loosely coupled and floating against a vermilion sunset. Very interesting composition! Love this one, too!

Alyx, very interesting - like looking thru a kaleidoscope. Interesting use of color contrasting with the white crosses and vari-colored dots.

alyx, I love how you've made this so three-dimensional thru the use of the trees' shadows on the snow - the birches seem to be right in front of the viewer- like you could ski right through the grove of trees. And the sky is a perfect late afternoon winter sunset, heightening the three-dimensionality of your image. Excellent!

Alyx, I love your artwork here. They look like friendly little surrealistic butterflies that glow like fireflies, floating like snowflakes on a dark night. Lovely! Well done!

Alyx, you've created a very mysterious image of northern lights (aurora borealis) as I might see it from my computer room window - an icy Susquehanna River in the foreground, the hills of Johnson City in the background, with a spectacular fireworks display, then the northern lights in the sky beyond. Very imaginative! Love, Dewey and Nonni
