Ella, What a cool Mexican sun you created! I love how the rays come out of the sun in red and yellow points - and then continue through the green and purple sky. And the sun looks three dimensional because of the rainbow patterns that color it and the black designs on the red that hugs the back of it. And I love the sun’s smile - and, of course, the happy, little red star person floating above! Your artwork always makes me smile, love, Ani

Ella, I love your first posted art project of grade 2! Ted Harrison certainly is an interesting artist. And your interpretation of his pastel landscapes is colorful and dramatic. I particularly like that you outlined the mountains in white. The circles of white in the blue could be clouds in a sky or ripples in a lake. Creative and fun! Can't wait for your next work of art.
