I don't believe we ever talked abut this piece so I am not sure what you were envisioning but it makes me think of a slow motion video...or a stop motion record of something in the water...love the watery feel! -- Grandma Phyllis

This piece makes me happy with all the bright colors, especially after seeing the jellyfish in Florida! I like the fact that it is square and the viewer is not exactly sure which side is 'up". That makes you feel the movelment of the waves.. -- Grandma Phyllis

Raging fire or flaming sunset, this piece has a fiery intensity. There is a bit of a reflection so I am sure the original is even more powerful! -- Phyllis

I like the jolt as the warm and cool colors meet each other. There is an earth-sky-water feeling that makes me feel like I am with nature and makes me happy. -- Phyllis

I absolutely love this piece. Aven used such a nice variety of line and good use of space. I feel the impact of the balloons rising at the same time. I wish the Steamboat Spring Hot Air Balloon Rodeo was still sponsoring a poster contest so Aven could enter this piece. It would be a perfect coloring poster. -- Phyllis
