This modern day Mona Lisa, with her choke chain and ill-amused, iPhone-deadened stare is truly remarkable and rivals the original. The artist clearly is communicating the devastating effects of modern technology via an ancient medium. The palette chosen adds not only depth to the portrait, but breadth of emotion as well.

This painting is reminiscent of the work of the Early Masters. Pure in both form and composition, the focal area uses a balanced palette that is aesthetically pleasing and disruptive at the same time, blending the emotions of joy and loathing in a manner that is wholly transcendant. A true work of art that reflects man's battle with his own, innermost conflicts.
