Dear Emily, This reminds me a little of Buffalo, New York where I used to live. Buffalo is across from Canada along the Niagara River and Lake Erie. YFrom the lighthouse in Buffalo you can look across the water to Canada. Each country proudly has its flag waving in the breeze just like your picture. There are many hungry and noisy gulls there which you have deftly drawn in this picture! Just lovely Emily. I especially like the water mammal with the cute eyes and tail!

Dear Emily I LOVE your artwork. You have such an eye for color! You use many different colors and often insert one color that doesn't necessarily go with the other colors ( orange hat doesn't go with pink) But that hat is a stunning part of the picture. The Amish people make quiilts that are very prized because they are also prized works of art. They always put in one color that doesn't match too and that is what makes their quilts look so stunning.
