Wow Jack, what a portfolio of art work you did at Highland Park. I hope we continue to see what you will be doing now that you are at Pleasant Lea. Love you, Gramma Linda

Hi Jack! Great color wheel! This reminds me of looking through a kalideoscope...you turn the wheel and see all kinds of colors and patterns of design. Great job sweetie! Love, Gramma Linda

Jack, I think this is a very good "still art" piece. You are really getting good as an artist and looks like you are using all the art techniques that you are learning. Nice choice for the matte and frame colors too. You could hang this in your room with all your MU Black and Gold! Love, Gramma Linda

The lines on this picture really separate the sky from the ground from the grass. Great job on connecting all three of them!

Jack, I really like your line tree. Great use of color and very interesting tree lines. I really like trees, too. When I went to Art School from the 5th to 7th grade, I did many studies of trees. I also am very fond of your 3 trees from 2 or 3rd grade. Keep up the good work. your self portrate was very good, too. Gramma Kay

Hi Jack! Is this a picture of one of your classmates? I didn't think it was a "self-portrait" because I think your hair is darker?? I would like to see the one they did of you! I also like the frame you drew for the picture...Cool! Love, Gramma Linda

Hi Jack, Hey, I think I want to eat at this place! I'm wondering if the "J's B B Q" could be "Jack's BBQ"? Anything that says "50% off" always gets my attention so that was a good thing to put in your window. You have a good menu but I think I might need to try that "famous chicken". Great job on this art project! Love, Gramma Linda

Hi! Jack, Wow!, I love the colors in this chalk art picture. I'm not crazy about snakes but this one is pretty cool looking. (It reminded me of the King Cobra we saw in Karate Kid) :) Love, Gramma Linda

Pretty awesome tree Jack! It makes me wonder how you did this? Did you draw the tree first and then fill in with all the lines or did you do the green first and then draw the tree? Hummmm, pretty interesting piece of art! Love, Gramma Linda

Hi Jack! Great job! I LOVE all the bright colors. O.K. last time you did circles, this time it is squares...what's next? Triangles? Ha! Love you, Gramma Linda

Dear Jack, I really like you new Contour Shapes. The colors and circles go so well together. I still like your Metallic Trees best and your Haunted House last month was really neat, also. Going thru boxes here in Texas I found some of my old art work and several paintings. It was fun to see what my Mom and Dad kept. Keep up the good work and put your ideas on paper. Love, Gramma K

Dear Jack, Your contour shapes are really cool. I know that must have taken a lot of concentration and was harder to do than it looks! Love, Gramma Linda

Jack, This is a terrific penguin. I started liking penguins when Papaw took to the San Diego Zoo in California in 1971. Since late 1980's I stopped collecting turtles and now I have a few penguins but nothing like the over 800 turtles I had. I have given away or sold most of them but I can bring you one when I come to visit, if you would like. Have a very Merry Christmas and a great new year. Gramma K
