You have a very good eye, if I saw this coming, I would run the other way. Very nice line work.

Once again I commend the artist on his line quality. Considering there was no actual model, his imagination is remarkable. Tanner has an amazing ability to keep scale as a high priority in his work. His work is always a great enjoyment. Papa

T- I really like your stipple project!. I don’t know your exact assignment, but they blend in with their surroundings so well, I think this was a good choice for subject matter. Owls are so fascinating, and you have captured him well! I am really enjoying your artwork!

As always his use of shading leads to the three dimensional appearance of the elephant portion of the character. His utilization of the back ground shape also draws your eye to the center of the work. Interesting creation in keeping with the topic of the assignment and the proportional aspects of the winged elephant are spot on..

T- I really like your colors you used in this piece, especially the green accent on the left.....that leads you to wonder what is there! Really nice artwork.

I love your use of black and white! The trees are awesome. You have also done a good job of 1/3, 1/3, 1/3 and forcing the eye to flow through your artwork. Very nice Tanner!

Not sure what the assignment was other than to involve a dinosaur, but I enjoyed the whimsical manner in which you introduced the subject to a balloon. You can almost see the big guy wondering what is that and why is it following me. Great job!

I have attempted to write previously and am not certain I was successful. Tanner has a unique style that is consistent in his all his works. He is vey successful in getting depth of field no mater the subject. He creates a central focus object and then surrounds it with either diminishing colors or reducing elements that create the depth. His work is fascinating! Did not realize he was a Cleveland fan.

Once again Tanner has demonstrated his ability to compose the page in a most interesting manner. Wonderful depth of field which exaggerates the topic. His placement of the copy also emphasizes the subject. Nice work!

I have been a very big fan since the TDS design. You have a flair for color and textures. You have a technique in your recent works that fascinates me. You place an object almost dead center in the work. Then you use color and placement or other objects to give the picture depth. I also note that you prefer to have most of the action on the left portion of the work by both color and composition. Keep up the good work. You generate interesting compositions.
