James I LOVE this piece! So much detail. I love that you kept it black and white so your designs stand out. Well done!

James, drawing a Venetian Blind appears to be very difficult - but you have succeeded in doing that and added a bowl of potatoes to peel! I am impressed!

This sculpture makes me want to go to the fair and ride the roller coaster! Tell me about the "blue"man. Is he the ticket collector?

Can you imagine walking down the street and listening to the skyscrapers talking to each other? Wouldn't it be fun to live in the tall purple apartment?!

James, your pumpkins are so creative! No simple Jack-o-lanterns for you!!! I like the way you have arranged them in front of a space just for them with different light shining on them

Hello James! Your picture indicates that you play the piano!!! And that you play Nintendo, and eat pizza! I missed seeing a picture of the sports that you play, as well! You are a "well rounded" young man! and I am proud to be your grandmother!

James, I see where you hid the bunnies!!! I like the way you arranged them on the paper. How did you get the hair to grow on the outside of three of them? Or it is a light shining from the back of them? I like the way you use your imaaginatiion.

James, I just love this print of circles! Did you dip half an orange to print some of them? And what a good choice of colors! The purple one is a nice contrast for the greens and "combos". Someday, I may choose this to put on a tin box for you, if you like...or you may want to wait until you have several from which to choose for your tin box. When I look at it now, I think the others are all following the purple bubble into the sky!

Perhaps I did not write about this picture before but I have admired it several times! If I named it, I probably would call it "Time for Pizza!" What would you call it? Let me know! G.Kate

Dear James, This painting of yours really arouses my curiosity. You have something to say here, but I am not quite sure what it is. I would love to see you try it again. You have what it takes to be a fine artist. Believe In yourself and don't be afraid to try again and again and again! Compare your work only with your own! What would you do it you tried this one again? G Kate

James, I loved this one so much that I ordered a mug with this design on it! Uncle Bill chose it to drink his coffee in when he was here in November.

James, your pizza is a delight to my eye and I believe that if you made one on a pizza shell, it would delight my taste buds as well! I see some purple onion rings, bits of spinach and broccoli , olives, lots of yummy cheese strips...and perhaps some tomato sauce peeking through! If I came to visit, maybe we could make one together!

James, I love your self portrait! It makes me want to rub my hand on your hair. It looks so real! Most of all, I like it because you have drawn a picture of the happy person you are.

James, a little bird told me that if I looked at your art upside down, it is the way you wanted it to be! When I did,I could see a crab down in the corner! And then the yellow creature became a handsome fish with red fins that stick up on its back. Great picture! G.Kate

Dear James, Your tree collage makes me feel like I am standing beneath it looking up at all the different colored blossoms. Will the pink ones become cherries, I wonder? Will the lavender ones become pale plums? What kind of birds might nest in its sturdy branches? Maybe I see goldfinches flying around! I like your tree that makes me wonder!
