What a stunning black and white image! All the curved lines and the mixed mediamake this image beautiful. It almost looks framed. You are a godd artist.

Simon, I agree that the way you used different techniques made it look like much more than just a quarter of a circle. I think all the curved lines and squiggles also trick your eyes so that you don't notice the quarter circle, Good work on applying an interesting technique.

Simon, I agree that the bubble is the most interesting part of this piece. I also like how the metal pattern is similar to the drawn part. It is an interesting technique. The pattern reminds me of wood grain. Good job..

I like how the boy reading the paper sticks his tongue out just the way you do when you concentrate. He also looks like you. Keep up the good work,you are a good artist.

Simon, Although you mention paint, markers, and printing, it looks like a collage to me. Some of the shapes look cutout and glued on. It has a fun feel to it and looks like you enjoyed making it. Keep up the good work.

Simon, On a cold dreary day, it is fun to think about an island in the Pacific and of a sail boat that could take me there. II wonder why the tree is to be set on fire? You must read Robinson Crusoe.

I like the realistic shape you gave to your leaves and the artistic colors. It makes the picture interesting. I can recognize the oak and maple leaves. I also like the way you had the leaves overlap, which is what you see in nature. I also like the big green broken leaf, What a wonderful fall picture!

Simon, Your pottery looks like a sunflower to me. I like the ruffled edges and the dark center. Keep up your efforts you are becoming a very good artist.

Simon, I like the cold feeling of the moonlight mountains. I also like the technique of outlining in white to separate the sky and the mountains. Your " artist's eye" is growing and your pictures are very interesting.

Simon, I like the contrast between the feathery black area on the bottom and the smooth circular red area. It also add interest by not having the pink go all the way around. The rough edge on the gold area also gives your abstract work interest. Keep up the good work, you are learning about many styles of art.

Simon, I like the pine trees against the sky at sunset. In winter, especially late winter, the sunsets are so beautiful just like the one you made. I also like the footprints going over the hill, it make the picture look like it is way out in the country and someone is trying to get home by dark. Keep up the good work, you are becoming an artist who tells a story.

Simon, I saw that this artwork had no comments. How did I miss it? This makes my imagination think of a carving in a tree trunk that your Mommy and Katie, Gramps and I left in the banyan tree outside our home in Cuba. Ask your mother to tell you about it.

Simon, When I was leaving a comment on the Calder-like painting, I saw that this wonderful butterfly had no comment. It is so whimsical and very creative. Once again, good job!

It looks like a castle with the draw bridge up. It reminds me of the castles we saw in Ireland.
