Hi Fredi ~ This is a fascinating piece! Drew and I love pencil drawings: There’s something very personal about an artist simply yet beautifully conveying in graphite what’s in front of them at that particular moment in time. (Forget that there’s an eraser; just trust your instincts!) These images appear to have been drawn in various stages when the sun created unique shadows, which is marvelous. Presented all together, it makes for a wonderful compilation that almost animates the subjects you chose. Congratulations on another job well done! The results you achieved with these pens are amazing Fredi! Over the years Drew and I have used just about everything from crayons to paints, except this medium ... which we now want to try! Your piece reminds me of groovy posters from the 1960s, but with your own personal touch: We really like how you incorporated the heart motif again, then introduced the star shape as well.
