Danny -- I love all of the hearts but the black and white one is my favorite! I especially like the fact that it is different than the more colorful ones! Your picture makes me think of Valentine's Day -- which is coming up soon!

Hi Danny -- Now you are working with ceramics!! The tile is beautiful and I especially love the yellow stem -- I never would have thought of that color! Additionally, the orange to the left and the mahogany to the right gives the tile a special look -- especially, the texture in the orange and mahogany is fascinating. I remember how happy you were when your brought this artwork home!

Woah, Danny, that is one scary painting. I like the blue around the second guy's eye --something like a black eye? I also think the colors are charming: blue, green, red, and orange -- all earth tones! Sounds like an interesting art project at school. Love, Gaga

Danny -- Oh my! Hydrangeas are my favorite! I have four in the back yard and am always curious to see if they will be pinkish or bluish -- depending on the acid in the soil! Looks like you offer both pink and blue in your beautiful painting. We like how you captured the fact that the big blossoms are made up of many little teeny tiny flowers! Papa thinks the aqua background offers a nice contrast!

Gaga thins the orange squares look like little houses on a hillside! The blue could be water. Papa thinks the roofs are newly shingled -- just like your house! The aqua and orange and black makes us both think you created a fall picture -- maybe October when the pumpkins are out!

We see winter, spring, summer, and fall -- what beautiful fall leaves to eventually rake up! We also like how the ground changes from snow to new grass, summer grass, and fall grass covered with leaves! You are also observant to note that the colors in the sky change with the seasons -- this is one of our favorite pieces of art from your first grade year!

Your latest creation is a refrigerator magnet that I had to buy for Grandmaugh Baugh's refrigerator! You will see your magnet when you visit her in Ben Oaks. She loves "earth tone" colors such as the tan, green and orange on your magnet.

Danny -- I love the pencil marks that offer such detail in the painting! Remember when you used to draw train tracks? All of the strong lines remind me of train tracks. Papa loves the colors: midnight blue, dark red, and sunshine yellow! It is fun to see what you are doing in kindergarten!
