I know this is about Stephen's artistry and not about me, but I hope he will note that I thought he was neo-impressionist before he began to label his own work as impressionist (see prior foppish, PopPopish comments). Inspired by the work of Monet, or is it Manet, I can never differentiate, but it was not the jewelry maker, this masterwork is known in art circles as "Three Geese in a Boat". The boat, of course, if you are familiar with Mr. Wood's other works, is metaphoric and in this case also invisible. There are many interpretations of this painting, but the most common one is that it is darn good. The public needs more, and by gosh the public demands more.

I see that Stephen von Woode, notably of the Flemish school of 21st century painters, has entered into a new phase of his artistic development, having borrowed from both Picasso and Mondrian to create an almost entirely new art form. I can also see that his recent reading of Watership Down as evidenced by the depiction of the boy's cat -like whiskers, platypus-like half-arms, giraffe, or accordion-like neck and multi-colored snowflakes. I would name this work "A Smorgasbord of Spring Delights" and leave a place in the MMA for it soon to be hung for the admiration of millions. Nice work Woody!

This energetic spider had constructed two wonderfully intricate webs. He then went for a walk (when you have 8 legs you do lots of walking) and returned to find that he could not get back to the webs, as too many leaves had filled all the space. Time to call Dad to get out his leaf-blower.

As anyone with good taste can see, this is the first of this artist's many neo-impressionist works. Here he depicts the parade for the Washington Nationals after they won the World Series. Or, alternatively, some say, I-95 between Richmond and DC on a Monday morning. Stephen's work is open to many interpretations, which is one of the many virtues of this artist's work.

This stellar work by Stephen Georges Voode is from his early period, just before he began is modern neo-impressionist works. The Anasazi tribe awarded the "Golden Arrow" to this representation of Kokopeli playing a song by Geronimo Souza on his flute, at the Taos, New Mexico. As we now know, this was the first of many important prizes won by this budding artiste.

Unfortunately this one looks alot like me. And I think you got my beard right too, or is that multi-colored spaghetti? Too much hair, perhaps, but maybe it is not hair on top of his head, but some of those plates that a few dinosaurs have for protection. I know, this is a StegaPopus!
