Aunt Laurie loves your color choices of the blue violet with red violet blended to the pink and a warm beige to set the petals apart from the contrast of the blue violet center of the flower. It was good to kiss the tip of each petal with a tip of white. The black paper helps to make the colors shine and I love that you repeat the pattern of the flower with a white chalk outline over the haze of orange-red chalk in the background. The blue-green, yellow-green, aquamarine of the stem and leaves set off the other colors and make your art glow to delight the viewer.
