Awesome!!! That darn lizard finally got to be the center of attention!! -- Beth

Madeline, I love this painting. You paid a lot of attention to detail. Way to go! Mom -- Erin

What a great drawing! I love the city, the cars and the people in the picture. The giant lizard was amazing! I especially like the way everything is in pencil except the lizard...really sets him apart and makes him a focal point! -- Stacey

Madeline, who is this Scotty guy??? I hope this monster isn't fashioned after someone you know! I love your rendering of all the buildings, cars and people who look as if they are in shock. It definitely illicits a feeling of fear in the viewer. Do I like it? Would I hang it? Not for me! But bravo for making a piece of art that makes people examine their emotions! Aunt Sue -- Sue

Awesome ?? job Madeline -- Grandma Dul

Maddie, This is one of my new favorite pieces! I really enjoyed watching you create this from start to finish. The amount of detail and your personal touches you added to the city scape really made this easy to enjoy and smile at! -- Dad

Madeline, I love your style of art that you have been developing through the Dance of the Nymphs and also the current piece you just finished. Both of these paintings remind me of the works of French painter Paul Gauguin from the 1800-early 1900. Check him out!!! I love the stories behind your paintings and can't wait to see what you come up with next. I think you are very talented for your age! -- Aunt Sue
