This artwork gives the optical illusion that the paper is 3D. The vertical lines remind me of the high and low peaks of a paper that has been accordion folded. It is an interesting combination of bold straight lines and soft smudging lines.

I wish I could surf like your character. It would be neat to see the birds, fish, and sea turtle while you're catching a wave! This painting makes me want to go back to Florida!

You did an amazing job of looking at a picture of a bunny, and breaking it down into smaller shapes to recreate this adorable bunny. The egg yolk paints were so bright and bold, even Maggie wanted a closer look/sniff. Too bad the dog licked all of the paint off your picture. I’m thankful we have a picture of how it looked originally and can’t wait to see how you repaint it.
