The socio and political nuances expressed in this piece are beyond words. The profound absurdist influence combined with the artistic themes of pattern and repetition invoke in the viewer the same sense overwhelming sense of awe that one may find in works by Poliakoff. All the patterns in this piece, by converging at a single point on the lone, solitary bird, create an atmosphere of uncertainty that achieves its prima donna like apex once the viewer makes eyecontact with that lone, solitary birb. -- Lila

The contrast and use of unity expressed in this piece is simply exquisite-divine, one might argue. This piece, in representing the duality of man, invites the viewer to consider the duality that lies within us all. The parallelism and symmetry, in representing two sides of the same face, furthers the view that this piece represents two sides of the same coin in this mortal coil we call life. -- Lilo Z.
