I see... cornstalk/human skeleton hybrids, blowing in the corn field, dancing the Argentine Tango. I know that's not what it IS, but the image makes me feel both loose and sharp, and I can hear a punchy tango beat in my head. Nice lines and overlaps... :) -- Karen

Is this a pine cone!? So cool! It reminds me of an artist I went to college with. She set up a magnifying glass up to the inside of a Walnut shell and she would create these giant, zoomed in pencil drawings of what she saw inside. They were super surreal looking. -- Caitlin

Another interesting crop. The shift in balance, the central light, the in and out of focus, and the general look of decay makes this one a more somber piece in my eyes. Kind of reminds me of the beach on a windy day. :) -- Karen
