Hi Grace, Yes, I like this abstract creation of colors and shapes! You have a a gift to put colors, shapes and figures together in a creative fashion. That is true of your writing as well. Don’t forget to practice that talent of writing poems, short stories, and short movies. You have a knack for photography as well. Keep up the good work! Love you to the moon and back! Grma G Gem

Grace, This is what Father Kevin was talking about in his homily, at Mass, on Grandparent’s Day! “Remain in Me, and bear much fruit!” You captured the essence of the Gospel! This going to be the next card with that scripture reading inside. Gracie, you are amazingly talented with gifts of the Holy Spirit! No worries, call you later, LOVE! Grma Gee

Hi Gracie Girl, That is a peaceful visual of the picture in your mind, and now on paper! You very cleverly, added a heart in the upper right corner and a heart in your minds eye. Quite a calming thought with rainbow colors in the background, and you resting with eyes closed in the lower right corner! Make those thoughts a reality, as often as possible! No worries, see you later, Love. Grma G

Grace, you are a unique and talented artist. You amaze me more and more every time I’m with you! This self portrait reminds me of how contemplative you were at 1 year old! You would look new people and new things over, check them out thoroughly, before smiling or acknowledging! I can see that in this portrait! Love you, Grma G

Grace - of the 21 California missions, our guess is that this looks most like Santa Barbara. Which one is it? We love the detail and precision of the palm trees, fountain and bell towers - it looks as though you took an architecture class. Eres fantástica y te amamos! AuntieT/UncleD

This art is a true balance of your subject (Grace), the colors and overall composition. You have created something mesmerizing and mirrored with just 5 letters of the alphabet. Fantastic! Keep the creative juices flowing! Auntie T & Uncle D

This is beautiful myriad of colors that looks like a stunning stained glass window! In India, the banyan tree has important meaning for people and is very special. But, we can happily say you are far more special to us!! XOXO, Auntie Trisha & Uncle Daniel

Gracie - This picture is such a perfect reflection of you: smiley, creative and full of colorful life!! Did you know the oldest mosaic is 3,500 years old?! This might be one of your best artworks yet. We love you in all of your "tesserae" glory! Auntie T & Uncle D

Love this! Reminds me of the saguaro cacti (Carnegiea gigantea) that we saw with Grandma & Grandpa in Arizona - the largest in the US! Even taller than you are...!

Grace, As we talked about your artwork at brunch on Saturday, this is another of your amazing creations!!! We don’t see cactus in MN, (too much snow!!!!) so your picture is “heartwarming” for me. I enjoy your creation and I love that you are my granddaughter! No worries! Call you later, Love. Grandma G

Hmmm Grace, is this a church in a warm climate? It has palm trees on each side of the huge door and a “cross” in the glass window over the door. It appears that you could go into architecture with this black and white pencil sketch! I’d love to tour the inside of this building! No worries, call you later, Love! Love you lots, Grma G

Grace, this piece of artwork is gorgeous! I love the color combinations! It looks like a Stainglass window of a beautiful tree, with a young girl, blonde, looking at it. And it is all reflected in the water at the bottom. That’s my interpretation. Beautiful! Love you to the moon and the stars and back! Grma G

Gracie! Your night sky is filled with amazing celestial wonders...and a fox! (Question: is that a pet or you?!) Vincent van Gogh painted the famous "The Starry Night" artwork - but it way less cool because it doesn't have a Vulpes vulpes! Love you beyond the stars.

Hi Sunshine! This artwork is, as usual, a wonderful creation of colors, objects and symbolism! I need to hear from you what the dog is trying to symbolize in this picture. Hello Grace! Very interesting creation of a “Starry Night”. I love it! The sky is lit up with stars, moon and awesome forms of lights and mysterious colored shaped objects, lingering in the darkness. And of course nature’s night creatures on the prowl. What’s in the red building, in your imagination? So great and somewhat mysterious! Love you to the stars above, Grma G

Hello Grace, I love this picture that you colored of bridges. When I close my eyes and think of it I think of you and I walking On it for a few steps and then you run across it and back up another path way as I follow you! I love the flowers below and the walk way across the middle with a pathway in blue leading others too and from the bridges. The colors are vibrant and exhilarating which is perfect for a walk in that park! Love your creations but not as much as I love my talented GRANDDAUGHTERS! Grma G

Gracie With the Sweet Smile, I think this is a magnificent rendition of the 3 Kings following the star, as directed by the angel in a dream! What did they find when the star stopped? Where did the star stop and why did it stop moving? I am getting excited for what is to come in the next month. And, I am excited to see more of your creative drawings. Hi Grace, do you know who the famous painter Monet is? I’m not sure if you got my last message where I mentioned Monáe, so I thought I would tell you to look him up on Google. The picture you did of the leaves is a perfect example of his muted look in a painting. You are an amazing, gifted little girl. I thank God daily for the blessing of you and Eloise in our family!! Love you sooooooooo much! Grma G
