William, I simply LOVE the water melon piece. You, like your ol' man, are a still-life painter! I only wish I could paint one with such vitality, saturation of color, and rhythmic elegance. The repeated images of the water melon slices floating on top of and bumping into one another compress the compositional space to make it burst forth with energy and life.
