Good work, Cortney. Your castle looks as though it came right out of a storybook!

I see a spoon filled with food and a tiny bowl filled with blueberries and they seem well executed. However, it isn't easy to comment without context or explanation.

It is a well-done portrait and very reminiscent of Burton's work. Brava, Cortney!

I like the brickwork in the background. Looks like block printing. Good work, Cortney!

Wonderful use of perspective. Looks like a bank safe. I love the lock mechanism on the door.

Good house drawing/painting with nice background. Tall people must live there cuz all the windows are high. Almost looks like a haunted house.

I really like this drawing. I can picture myself walking down the long hallway to the safe, anxious to find a treasure I’ve been waiting to get for a long time. Good job challenging yourself. Grandma

Always good to challenge yourself. Maybe Wrigley Field next (just kidding). Grandpa.

This drawing is wonderful and one point perspective is quite challenging. I’m impressed. Brava, Cortney! Check out Van Gogh’s paintings for more inspiration.

This is fabulous! I love the balance of black and white and the placement of the head and words. Well done, Cortney!

Really cool piece of artwork, Cortney!

Nice work Carney. The solid white face and black eyes and nose pop off the black and white checked background. Embroidery is a nice skill to have.

Nice job on perspective. I love the house and the way I can see the two sides of the house and its roof. I wonder where the road will take me?

Good job on defining safe, dangerous, and fun spots. Looks like you could have an exciting treasure hunt, but better bring all that is listed in the key or you might be in trouble!j

I like the combination of pink, black, blue colors and with the orange line circling just outside the center. Nice composition.

This looks like a weaved yarn bowl sculpture with blueberries at the bottom of the bowl. I think the color is wonderful.

Cortney, the background colors are beautiful and some of my favorites. I see real dimension in the mountain peaks and the trails and mountains below. I also like the way you combined color and black lines together to compose your drawing. Nice work, Cortney!

Cortney, I love your face and the blue color palette. I also like the way you broke up the space with the green stripes placed diagonally in the background. Picasso had a time when he only painted in blue and it was called his "Blue Period". Well done Cortney!!!

Nice colors and the negative and positive shapes really pop off the black background. It definitely reminds me of Henri Matisse's paintings. Good work, Cortney!

Very cool, Cortney. I'd love to see this 3-dimension artwork.

Nice painting Cortney. I love the different colored dots in the bird. The colors work well with the color you chose for the mountains in the background.

Another FUN creation, Cortney. I love, LOVE, L-O-V-E that you made heart shaped eyes. The rosy cheeks are a pretty nice touch, too. This would make a very nice Valentine indeed!

WoW! That is one classy crown, Cortney. Very eye catching, indeed! It compliments your Queen's face perfectly. I especially like how you filled in the background to make your Queen stand out. The expression on her face is very unusual. Good job, as usual.

Cortney I have always loved the use of letters within an artwork and you’ve done this well. I also like very much the lines within each letter. Colors are nicely placed. To make this a stellar piece, I would have liked to see the heart handled the same as the mom letters which would “pull” the color around and make the heart just as important as the letters. Ask your mom for more explanation. You are really a wonderful artist and I applaud you newest artwork! Love AC

You continue to amaze me, Cortney. Vincent Van gogh is absolutely one of my favorite artists. In fact, I have his "Irises in the Garden" hanging in my living room. I think your "Sunflower" masterpiece is very lovely., as well. I love the subtle colors that you used and the fact that the flowers fill up the whole page. Awesome job!

Great flower drawings. The flowers are full of texture and nicely balanced. Your painting reminded me just a little of Giorgio Morandi because of the table outline and color. I saw his paintings at a museum in Bologna, Italy. Nice work Cortney!

I really like how you designed the top of your soup can so that the whole can looks 3-dimensional. That was pretty clever, Cortney. You are an amazing artist just like your mama.

Cortney, I L-O-V-E your rabbit! It looks like Cute Candy is wearing eye shadow and lipstick. How cute is that!! I also love that you can see what looks like her 'cotton tail' in this picture. It makes your drawing look 3-dimensional. You did an awesome job of giving your rabbit Personality Plus. - Aunt Jan.

Cortney, your statement is intelligent and thoughtful. Your composition is excellent - it appears you have an natural sense of image placement. Having the pigeon and duckling touch the sides of the page produces good negative and positive space. Your color palette is very good, and you have demonstrated mature drawing skills. Please ask your mommy to explain my comments. This is a fine drawing. Brava Cortney!

What a FUN picture, Cortney. It made me chuckle. Cutie, the Pigeon, appears ti be looking around (with that BIG eye) for another hot dog. Ha! I love how you made it look like the Duckling is flapping it's wings. And I especially love being able to view your creative projects on Artsonia. Keep up the good work.

Oh, my, Miss Cortney. This is one very authentic Panda. I think we saw his cousin at the Phoenix, Arizona Zoo last month. Only his cousin was not as good looking as your Panda. Nice job! Aunt Jan

Cortney - your valentine art piece is striking. I love the repetition of the heart shape especially because you chose to use several colors and varied the size of each heart. The way in which you placed the color around the page is quite nice. It makes my eye move (or pulls my eye) around the whole painting. I also see dots - in difference sizes - they are nice and very well positioned. I love this new painting, Cortney! Love Aunt Chris

Just in time for Valentine's Day!! I love the vibrant colors that you used, Cortney and I am not at all surprised that the biggest heart is PURPLE! Awesome job. Aunt Jan.

This looks like a poinsettia flower and so appropriate for the Christmas season. Flowers are usually found symmetrical out in nature - take a look. But your flower as an art piece has nice balance, texture, and color. I like the placement of each torn piece of paper. I even like that your flower comes off the page at the bottom. Nicely done, Cortney

I love this 3 dimensional baby salmon. You chose good colors found in many salmon and I like the "found objects" that you used to form the baby salmon, fishing line, and fishing pole. It's a very nice 1st piece of sculpture. Well done Cortney!

This image reminds me of patterns used in ancient African animal masks. I like your use of repetition and variation in the lines and dots. I also like your color palette - the image I see on my computer looks like the artwork has a red background with green lines - complimentary colors make the lines vibrate on the page - a very nice effect. Thanks for sharing your artwork, AC
