Savannah, your ceramics' skill continues to amaze me. The blue glaze is so pretty, and the charming way you let it run down the sides of the teapot creates interest. I have a collection of art pottery from Van Briggle, an awarding winning potter who has pieces on exhibit in the Louvre that I think you might be interested in seeing.

Savannah, this set is delightful! The colors are as vibrant as you are and the design as unique as you! These are treasures!

Broken pots are still useful and beautiful. I use broken pots in my garden and plant flowers among the broken pieces just as God has planted blessings among my broken pieces.

Vulnerability opens the door to both pain and joy, both contribute to the tapestry of our lives.

Overlapping hands just as our lives overlap with others laps. Words and actions are not said and done in isolation. They leave their marks.

This piece is intriguing and draws my eye back again and again. I am unsure of the piece as I am often unsure of what is going on in our current world.

The colors make me think of India and its elephants! Of course, I always am attracted to a mother taking care of her young.
- Honey on March 31, 2021

I agree with your mother. You are getting in touch with your abstract side. I also think that it looks like a piece of stained glass. I am intrigued by the beautiful colors that are never completely obscured by the darkness. In life, there is always light in the midst of the darkest hour if we only look for it and concentrate on that light.

I love this piece... the idea is so creative and unique. We may be broken but with the Lord, He can put us back together.

These wings are beautiful!! I love the contrast between the red and white...

I love the elephants!! Their story is so beautiful!!

Love it!! I see you are getting in touch with your abstract side.

Butterflies are so beautiful, but so fragile! People's vulnerabilities make them beautiful, yet fragile! God created and protects both! People find help and protection for their vulnerabilities in God's Word.
- Honey on January 6, 2021

Grey, golden accented angel's wings posed over a world that too often sees things as black and white because it refuses to acknowledge the multiple perspectives in our world. God created and loves us all.

My granddaughter and her passion, horses, posed eye to eye with the horse, Kogi, she feels closest to, both bejeweled and beautiful!
- Honey on January 6, 2021

This mysterious piece provokes thought and contemplation! It makes me think of peace and fluffy clouds over a black, foreboding, sharp shape about to pierce the peace and serenity. Will the anvil be picked up and used to destroy the threat to the peace?
- Honey on January 6, 2021

These pieces reflect your whimsical side and speak of Ireland and leprechauns and mushrooms. I suspect a leprechaun is hiding in the mushroom pot!

This picture doesn't do justice to the beautiful glaze on the outside containers. I treasure having this piece in our great room, reminding of us of our talented granddaughter. I am grateful to have the real piece and not just the picture because the picture just suggests the beauty of the real piece.

Such a pretty color! The design makes me think of dominoes for some reason, even though it isn't black and white. The colors you are working with are irresistible to the human eye because they speak of life, joy, happiness.
- Honey on January 6, 2021
Very cute, Savannah!
- Jerri on December 30, 2020

Savannah, the depth of your expression both artistically and in word continues to bless and amaze me. However, you still need a proofreader. There is nothing liker having an English teacher grandmother!:)

I don't know whether the painting or your artist's statement touches me more. The combination of the two bring me to tears, for my daddy was so precious to me and instilled in me the Christian values and truths I try to live by daily. I know he is rejoicing in heaven that he was able to touch his precious great-granddaughter whom he loved and enjoyed so much.
