This is a very happy picture and when I look at it, it makes me feel better if I am a little sad. I also LOVE ice cream, so the your work particularly appeals to me. It makes me want to take you and Amina to Loards! (with Mom and Aba too!)

Lilah, What I like about this piece is that it plays on reflection in a way that the bottom three squares show what's missing in the top three squares. You can do it with poetry too, however visual is always very cool. I am so impressed!

I love the minimalist look of this piece, Lilah. Just enough to allow the viewer to draw(pun) her own conclusions while exploring what the artist (YOU) meant. -- Joanne

I believe the artist was aware of the importance of texture in this piece. She used one of her favorite colors (pink) and one of mine (purple) The yarn ties the whole piece together and the lace adds a feminine touch! BRAVA! -- Joanne
