The moment I saw your picture I said "Seurat" and I hadn't read the description. The piece you studied for this technique has always been one of my favorites. Pointelism seems like a fun medium but time consuming. The way you did it with the sand was great. Luv Grandma Carol

Jillyan, I am very impressed at all of your pictures but I really enjoy looking at this one. It does show the depth perception quite well that you are studying. I look foreward to seeing many more pictures and paintings. Love Grandpa Keith

I see that your piece was influenced by the Pop culture of the 1960's. Have you seen the work of Peter Max? He has a similar style. You have diffinately captured the feel and colors of that period in art. Your new spin on Michelangelo is fantastic! Luv Grandma Carol

Hi Jillyan, I love this Piece that you did! It is so colorful. You used all my favorite colors with a little bit of black. I am wondering what the assignment was. I see that you painted a lot of meaningful symbols. You will have to tell me more about it when I see you next time. Love from, Aunt Cindy
