Hi Ryan - what a great picture to recognize all the latest activities of NASA & the space exploration that is current. I loved how you did the shading to earth & moon look round & the colors of the starry sky & milky way are gorgeous. The details of the space rocket are amazing - and is that Mae waving from the window inside?? Great job!!

Hi Ryan - I really enjoyed reading your artist statement about your strawberry cake drawing. It did really take a lot of work to accomplish this and I know you had to plan carefully as you added each part & made it look just fresh & delicious!! Really good explanation - thank you!!

Oh yum! What a delicious looking cake sitting high atop a special cake plate and a cake made with so many layers...I'm betting there is chocolate between every layer!! and I wish I could just swipe my finger through the chocolate melting down the sides!! Great job!

Hi Ryan - What a treat to see how you created the Eiffel Tower with great colors in front of a 3-D like sky and all with many small dots - this is a really cool painting! I love your imagination & your artwork.
- Linda on May 20, 2021
Ryan, good job on capturing the Eiffel Tower. It was on the top of this tower in 1999 that Grandma Linda and I became engaged.

Ryan, I have always loved geometry, and your artwork is a great example: concentric rings with squares radiating outward from a center mass. Good Job!

Your painting makes me feel as though I'm traveling through a dark forest and starry sky towards 'the light' ahead as the different shades of blue lead me along a path...what a great 'story' the painting tells. You are awesome, Ryan!

Whoa - that is one spooky painting of a scarey grim reaper and a very cool skeleton sneaking thru a forest made of different shades of black & white which makes it look like the forest is very deep and dark...and Halloween spooky! Great job!

A great picture-beautiful colors and shading. It looks three dimensional as well as Halloweeny. Great creation!

Hi Ryan - I'm looking at another beautiful leaf print you made. The colors are gorgeous and a wonderful combination - makes me feel like I could just pick up one of those turquoise leaves as they look as though they are just floating on top of purple paper - nice job!! love, gma
- Grandma on May 20, 2021
Ryan, this artwork can represent so many things. For me, I see fish swimming in a purple ocean. Nice job!

Hi Ryan - I loved seeing your gorgeous multi-colored print of Fall leaves. The colors really brought out the actual structures within the leaves and made for a beautiful print! Great job - I hope you will tell me how you made this!! I love it, Gma
- Linda on May 20, 2021
The leaves are changing colors and beginning to fall just like you captured them in a your art. It makes me want to rake them into a big pile and let you jump in.

What a detailed and interesting project - a still life! I loved seeing your arrangement of toys in a basket - and the angry bird and hackeysack made me smile - really good job! I loved the little skateboard on the fabric above, too! Super neat painting, Ryan!

Hi Ryan - I enjoyed seeing and learning about how you constructed your rainbow sculpture. So many different shapes & designs and colors! It came out really cool...very clever sculpture! Your imagination at work!

Gorgeous pagoda is glowing with colors that just light it up. Just beautiful - has a 'happy glow' and the lines of a great artist's vision. Loved it!! Gma

Hi Ryan - what a wonderful drawing of a freshwater dolphin with it's tiny eyes and extra bump on it's head - as it splashes just above the water to take a peek at the rainforest above. Really well done & an interesting animal on our planet. Love, Gma

Ryan, you did great! The bone detail shows you know skeletons, and the proportions make it quite realistic. Fantastic!

Very nice depiction of the Northern Lights. I really liked the water's reflection of the trees on land which is a "mirror image" and is difficult to capture.

I will have to ask you how you made this print as it is the reverse of your previous print making art - although the shades of blue are a bit darker on this one. Somehow you were able to get all the beautiful line drawings transferred and it looks even sharper than before...I love the little faces (which I thought were happy bubbles??)

So wonderful to see the 'before' version of your self portrait and then to see the later version. You started out with a really well-done portrait and I love your big smile!

Hi Ryan - What a great job you did learning about self-portraits and the different proportions on your face. It was easy to see how much you learned from the 'before' and 'after'...you must be listening really well to learn all of that and then create a new and improved self portrait. Great job!! Love, Grandma
