Your statement about your Thiebaud cake almost makes it seem like you are obsessed with Baby Yoda. I mean, it's not like he's a cat or anything really special?!? Oh well, your artwork is good. That's what matters.

Charlotte, your Thiebaud cake is very well done. I do feel sorry for Baby Yoda having a slice cut out of his head, however. Keep up the good work!

Nice work, Charlotte! Your art is always good. Keep it up.

Georges Seurat could not have done better himself! Keep up the good work. P.S. Do I see a cat looking down from the first platform?

Cat toys? Pack rat nest? Mouse traps? I'm impressed!

Very good perspective! You'll have to explain it to me sometime!

Well done. I'm impressed! (But, it sort of looks like a moldy poptart!)

Well done. Cute and creative!

I think I saw this one on a cave wall somewhere!

Maybe you could get your cats to model these outfits!

Charlotte, this is scary good! Well done!

Charlotte, your artwork continues to impress me. You get better every year! I was even more impressed with this fall scene when I found the two gray cats hidden in the artwork!
- Grandpa John on November 11, 2020

Nice colors in this photo, also. But, I like the Hidden cats better.
- Grandpa John on October 7, 2020

Nice photo, Charlotte! I was even more impressed when I saw the little kitty nose sticking out of the flowers. Well done!
- Grandpa John on October 7, 2020

Wow, Charlotte. There's a lot going on in this artwork. I can see influences from several artists. I almost missed the cat hiding in the background. Keep up the good work.

Charlotte, this is another great art project. You did a good job of capturing the facial expressions of all three dogs. My only suggestion would be to read ALL of the instructions for the assignment next time. Keep up the good work.

This is the strangest looking cat I've ever seen. Keep practicing, Charlotte!

What are you going to use this table for? Is this going to be your cat grooming table or your cat feeding table or your cat bed table or your cat display table?
- Grandpa John on April 14, 2020

Awwwwww! So cute! Both the finger puppet and Groot, himself!
- Grandpa John on April 14, 2020

Very nice!

Uhhhhh? Charlotte, this artwork is way too deep for me. You'll have to explain it to me the next time I see you.

Sleeping Groot is the best!

I can't tell if it is a Dream Catcher or a Blue Squid!

Are you catching Flamingo dreams?
- Grandpa John on April 14, 2020

Awwwwww! You already ate part of it!
- Grandpa John on April 14, 2020

Nice work Charlotte! This ranks up there with your 27 colors and flavors of slime! Keep up the good work!
- Grandpa John on April 14, 2020

Charlotte, I love the vibrant use of color! Well done. Most people won't recognize the subject of this art work, but you and I know that it's a portrait of a magnificent cat. Keep up the good work!

Another great art project, Charlotte! That was very clever putting the cat and dog shaped clouds behind the Pagoda! Keep up the good work.

Nice Day of the Dead themed artwork. Your dad probably liked this one! Keep up the good work!

Nice work, Charlotte. Your painting looks just like an O'Keeffe! Well done!
- Grandpa John on November 20, 2019

Charlotte, I just don't know what to say about this artwork. It looks like you are inside of a cat's mouth, looking out through the teeth? Did I guess right?

Nice artwork, Charlotte! I especially liked to see the two cats looking out the upstairs window! Keep up the good work.

Great job, Charlotte! Cats like fish!

Nice ceramics work, Charlotte! I'm impressed. If it was just a little bit bigger, it could be a cat box for tiny cats! Keep up the good work!

Wait! What? Your assignment was to draw an animal and you drew a penguin? Oh, Charlotte! Grandpa John is sooooo disappointed! I'll bet you can't guess what animal I wish you had drawn. Better luck next time. At least you did a good job of drawing a penguin!

Wow! I like it! But, the cats are a little small in relation to the elephant.

I am impressed again! Kante Cloth Weaving looks very difficult and you did well. Maybe when you are a little older, you can weave something more meaningful . . . like, say, a cat!

Charlotte, I like your new self-portrait. I did notice, however, that your cats are missing from the portrait . . . and we must always remember the important things in life! Have a great day!

Charlotte, I know that Paul Cezanne liked to paint apples, and I can see the similarities in your artwork, but I have to tell you one little thing that you forgot . . . Cats don't like apples!

Charlotte, I am at a loss . . . your printmaking project obviously required a lot of work. I can tell that! What I can't tell is what it is. So . . . in true Grandpa John style, I'm going to tell you what I think it is. I've decided this is a scene from the Gulf of Mexico during a bad storm. There's a small boat being tossed about by very large waves. And, in the boat, is a very frightened, very small cat. Now, you'll have to explain to me how the cat got into a boat, during a storm, in the middle of the Gulf!

When my Japanese cat saw your Gyotaku, she said Nyan! Nyan! When my Chinese cat saw your Gyotaku, she said Mao! Mao! In any case, they both liked your fish print and so did I!

Charlotte, is this a painting of your good-looking, older sister?

This "Before" selfie looks like you were mean to your cat! (And, the cat didn't like it!)

Hi Charlotte! Nice selfies! The "before" looks like you just woke up and the "after" looks like you put on too much makeup! Anyway, nice job on the artwork. Keep it up. I'm your biggest fan . . . or at least your oldest fan!

And yet another painting! This one is even more creative. It looks like a reflection of Catzilla in a stained glass window. You are getting so good at capturing unusual subjects in your artwork! I can't wait to see more!

Wow! Another painting! You've been busy, Charlotte! I just love this painting of the kitties in their little nest, waiting for their mother to feed them. You've got real talent, Charlotte! Keep it up!

Charlotte, I love your new painting studio family portrait! Your painting looks so realistic, I almost think it's a photo, instead of a painting. However, I don't see Huey or Catzilla in your painting. Did you forget to include your dog and cat? In any case, keep up the great work! Can't wait to see what's next!

Charlotte, I think a "Cool Pot" deserves a "Cool Comment" from your "Cool Grandfather!" I really like your clay pot . . . but, if you had made it a little bigger, it could have been a cat bed! I am really impressed by the different types of projects you have done in your art classes. Keep up the good work and keep sharing your projects.

Very nice, Charlotte! And, I had no trouble finding the hidden cat in your artwork this time. Either you're getting better at art (probably), or I'm getting better at finding (probably not)! Keep up the great work and I'll keep viewing!

I love your Fiber Art, Charlotte . . . but, I couldn't find the hidden cats in the artwork and I know they had to be there! I'll keep looking and you keep doing the great art projects!
