I like this one a lot, all that detail. I like the style too. This white ines on ight background is a good choice and adds complexity and interest.

Very nicely done

I like the car hon, it looks like it belongs with the style you chose for the mountains.
Posted 3 years ago by Dina
Nice one, hon. Cool idea. I like that the pants and heart both use a similar style, it ties the peice together. The way you handle anger in this piece is also interesting, nobody wants to be treated as a puppet. Juxtaposing that anger with the purple and plaid, then contrasting those soft colors with the black and red background, is really effective at building a complex emotional response.

How cool! Cuttlefish are such interesting creatures. The foam carving is a great skill to learn. One of my friends makes artwork for the movie studios and uses foam carving often to create his work. He uses for art cars at Burning Man sometimes, too.

I know you intended this to be a creepy monster, but I see "Fear" creeping threw. Like stage fright, which I guess is still a monster when you're going through it. Thanks for allowing your works of art touch people where they are.

Your WASP is Great! I know you said it was frustrating to complete, however the end results display "strength"
Posted 4 years ago by Auntie
This is a really clever graphic design. Was it made from paper or digitally?
Posted 4 years ago by Auntie Dina

My niece will indeed be a very talented artist. Already is actually. But I've seen her intense dedication to her talent and craft. She definitely has what it takes to make it as a professional artist. I can't wait to see where her talent takes her.

Posted 7 years ago by Dana (Mother)
Great job on this piece Alysa. You’re work continues to improve. Keep up the good work!
Posted 7 years ago by Soni
Alysa - This is Great!! - I thing the lack of details in the person is the actual mask and the mask represents the passion that the person really has.
Posted 7 years ago by Aunt Sonya
You are so creative. I'm just wondering if Snow-zilla is Curby's evil twin... lol
Posted 7 years ago by Dana (Mother)
I like how you play with perspective in this image, defining the underside of the "steps" with dotted lines. It's all a flat 2D surface, but you've cleverly built in depth. Cool. My niece rocks.
Posted 7 years ago
I like Snowball - He looks like he's playing "Hide n Seek". Great job with the background.

This is cool. Nice graphic work dear! That mean cat is scaring the poor little square head, though. It almost looks like the round double circle in the lower right-hand corner (just above the pop-cycle fence) looks like a space person coming to save the day. You could write a short story based on this image...
