Griffin, I am glad I had the chance to be your art teacher. Good luck in middle school and remember that you can keep adding to your online portfolio here until 12th grade. I am going to join your fan club so I can see your talent grow! Mrs. F

Dear Griffin, I love the "Nighthawks Spoof" painting. There is no mistaking it as a spoof on the original painting, which I always liked. Good job! Love Grammom

"The Scream" is terrific. I have seen the original at the National Museum of Art here in Washington D.C. One of the most impressive exhibits I have ever seen. Truly! Many of Edvard Munch's pieces are so sad they almost made me cry. But the way he painted was beautiful and grand. The pictures (mostly oil paintings) are really large. I think the whole "scream" was like 4 by 5 feet! Keep up the good work. Love, Grammom

Griff, I love the snowman done in pastels. Don't you lkove working with the bright colors of the pastels? And the blending of the color is so effective.

Hi Griff! I have been looking at your "untitled" piece in the art gallery on line. You have learned perspective! The tiled flooring is perfectly set up. It is a wonderful piece. And, like the the Picasso-like faces yo did, it also makes you think. At first I thought that the yellow head — on the guy standing on the big box — was a yellow hat and he was looking down. Sad, with his hands in his pockets, but on further inspection, I realized it was a happy face which made me smile! There is alot to think about in this one. I love it!

Hi Griffin! I am so happy to finally see your name in the Artsonian club on line. Wow what great work! I think that the "Picasso Protrait" piece is the most dynamic work of all. A creative masterpiece! The colors are terrific and the protraits of the guy and girl make you think, which is the a characteristic of a great painting. I definately thinkd this should be enlarged and printed and hung on wall. So keep up the good work cause I think I see a real artist here! I think about you alot and know you are playing good football this season. Study hard and keep in touch. With love to always. Grammom
