So interesting...is that your hand? I think the hand is resting on the top of the umbrella -- and the umbrella is open.

Hey Lady! I really like your rolling cart. If you had a food cart what would you like to serve out of your food cart? And do you thinkyou should wait until you are of age to drive, or would you like me to drive the food cart?

The "This is" picture -- I can't read all of the little print in the picture so you will have to give me the "rest of the story." You always do such interesting artwork and I try to understand your motivation. You are an excellent artist so I know that you have a lot of thought and inspiration for each picture. Thanks for sharing your work with me.

This is the SUPERMARIO picture -- at least that is what grammie is calling it! Very interesting -- you will have to tell me the "real story" on this one!

This picture must be the "gemini twins!" It is very nicely done. Did you have some people in mind when you did the painting? I'm sure the picture has a story that inspired you.

Nice work Hazel. I remember when you working on these paintings -- it was early in the COVID time. You will have to tell me the story behind this picture, too.

Leo is the sign for Uncle Stevie but I know this picture is not him! But you did a good job with your painting and maybe it reminded you of someone else who is a Leo. You will have to tell me the story behind this art.

Does the Scorpio painting have a story? It is a very interesting picture and you will have to tell me what inspired you. Good job.

Auntie Annie is a Sagittarius so I think of her when I see this picture. You did a wonderful job on your painting.

This is very well done -- do you know someone with this sign and is it a picture of that person? Maybe a friend? You will have to tell me the story behind this picture.

You did a fantastic job on this! And this is your sign just like it was Grandma Hazel's sign. Very nice and I especially like your signature on it!

This artwork is very pretty. It looks like a perfect five-pointed star but I can't tell how you did it. Is it a stamp or water color? I am only guessing but you did a great job!
- Jan on November 11, 2020

I am calling this picture "green turtle." It looks like you used different materials like fabric or paper in this art project. Does it have a story? It is very well done and interesting.
- Jan on November 11, 2020

This has to be a winter picture -- it must be the mountains in Colorado with a very snowy evening sky. You did a very nice job and will have to tell me the story.
- Jan on November 11, 2020

This very colorful picture reminds me of lots of balloons going up in the air. You will have to tell me if that is correct.
- Jan on November 11, 2020

Hazel -- this is very cool! Did you combine some original artwork with some technology? I know you are so good at that and grammie always has to ask how you can do things like this!
- Jan on November 11, 2020

I think this must be from your sketch book and you did a very nice job. I am going to call it "cracked egg." It looks like an egg with a very small crack near the top -- am I right?
- Jan on November 11, 2020

I think this is a "rolling restaurant!" Or it could be a produce stand for selling fruits and vegetables. I think I see muffins -- is that correct? You will have to tell me the story on this picture. Very well done.

This is beautiful and very well done. I especially like the added designs to make it your very own piece of art. I think it should be called "Hazel's style!"

Is this the artwork you've been creating at home? Very nice designs.

This must be a chocolate teddy bear with a little bit of white frosting here and there. I hope I'm right about that but don't let anyone eat him! Grandma Jan

Hi Hazel: I think this is your hand reaching into the pool while we are sitting under the palm trees in California -- and it was on a very sunny day in February! Beautiful. Love, Grandma Jan

This is pretty outstanding. Can you draw Toaster? I would love that. Where is Sophie in the picture. Behind the tree?
- Auntie Annie on February 8, 2020
Hazel: Beautiful artwork -- you must tell me the story behind this piece. It is most interesting and creative.

Hi Hazel: I love the new "heart" artwork that just got posted. You are a very good artist and do a particularly good job selecting your colors. Does this piece have a name? I think it could be called "hearts on a string." The black lines remind me of string connecting the hearts. Great job!

That's awfully pretty Miss Hazel. You sure do have an eye for colors!! Love you!!

Haze: These trees remind me of stately pine trees standing tall in the forest. I think the sun was rising on the horizon behind them, and it was going to be a beautiful day for everyone to enjoy. Is that what you were thinking when you did this artwork? You will have to let me know.

I love the circles. It reminds of this time when I sitting in a rectangular room at a square table with triangle napkins wishing for a round plate of food. I like it. Very. Much.

I know that Hazel Grace's favorite color is purple and I like blue and green, especially when they are used together. Good job in using some favorite colors in your artwork! It is beautiful.

I love this red and purple fish! Have you ever seen one this color? I don't think I have but will be looking for one.

Hazel Grace has us guessing on this picture -- it could be two trees or two mushrooms or maybe a pair of slippers that don't match!
-- Jan

This picture could be the sun rising over the water or maybe setting over the water at night. Hazel Grace must have the answer!

This picture is like a very colorful bunch of birthday balloons. Maybe they are flying high up into the sky!

Hazel Grace: Your artwork is fantastic! The picture with the bridge reminds me of the bridge at the Tenney Park lagoon. It is beautiful.
