Gracie, What a thoughtful project to do for Japan! It's so delicate and pretty! In your spare time bend me one :-)

Dear Gracie, What in the world are you doing up in a wacky outer space castle? Is this where you go after school? You look so cool and happenin' with the glasses...but you also look so tiny. Don't get lost. Or get stepped on. Love, Auntie Linda

Hi Grace, Without a doubt, Grace, it was very evident that the art work of you in "Finally finding Atlantis" is truly "Seeing is Believing Hi Grace, It is quite evident that the drawing of you in "Finally finding Atlantis" is truly "Seeing is Believing"! Excellent! Grandpa and I, also, are very impressed with each of your art work pieces. The expression of your talent is so diverse and very interesting. Thanks for sharing them with us. Gracie, I love this mask. It's very interesting to look at. There is a lot going on and the colors are very pretty. I like how you placed the flowers and sun and water! I like all the textures too. And then you see a pretty face behind everything else! Very good job! I'm always amazed at your art! Love, Aunt Linda

Gracie! I love this doggie picture. I love the colors and the BACKGROUNDS too. You picked the perfect color combination to make everything "POP". I really like this one. Could it be Maisie? It would be funny if a real dog looked like this. The colors are just awesome and it looks like you did a good drawing it! Love Auntie Lindy!

Gracie, I like this drawing a lot. A chef in his apron and toque (look that word up) carrying his cake...yummmm. Whose birthday is this for? I like the big candle and the lit mitch! I like his mustache, its hairy (hee hee). How did you choose the colors for the background? Good job! Love Auntie Linda

Gracie: It was great fun visiting you last week. I wish I could've stayed longer and played and drawn more with you. I got home and started practicing some more myself. I look forward to seeing you soon. Uncle Steve

Grace, I like this one quite a bit! I like how the woman is looking at the man. It's good I thought of American Gothic right away when I saw it. You might have a lot of fun trying to draw The Scream by Edvard Munch, it's full of swirls and bright colors!

This is awesome! You should make a T-shirt out of this! Very good grid drawing. Love, Aunt Lindy

Gracie, I don't think I ever saw this one before. I know it's from 3rd grade but you did an outstanding job. I think Piccasso has some very weird pieces. Yours makes sense to me. I can see your pretty face all jumbled up in there. You are one talented girl! Love, Aunt Lindy

Gracie, When I opened up your portfolio and saw this spoff on "American Gothic" I thought "Boy oh boy I wish I could draw that well." Your detail in the facial expressions are right on. The man looks really old. His face shape is really accurate. The lady looks like she has a pretty outfit on, but her face is old and tired looking. I like how you did her hair. I give it 2 thumbs UP! Love, Aunt Linda

Hey Grace, that's good! I like this one. Your daddy probably likes it a whole lot too. When I was a little guy I made a grid drawing of a clown that was startling it worked so well. It worked again here too. Something hard can be much easier broken into pieces. Aunt Julanne thinks it's very good, she says she wishes she could draw like that too. Keep sending us more to look at! Steve (and Jules)

What a great monster. A monster, but a friendly one. I like his red and yellow clothing. What is this guy thinking? Where does he live?

This is my favorite, the washed out colors and a leafless tree seem spooky and magical. Very nice.
