The tints and shades of this blending medium piece has so much depth and rhythm. It reminds us of earth (red) and sea (blue). It’s a stunning clean contrast. -- Maxine

We love this!!! It reminds us of the book, The Day The Crayons Left. It has legs...have legs will walk. ?? Choosing to make a yellow crayon is such a positive, light-filled color, a spring-is-almost-here color, where tender new shoots push their way through the soil into the sunshine and soon turn green, as the paper cover on the crayon. The black wavy lines are the detail that makes this piece of art unmistakably a Crayon. Finally, one knows this is a loving crayon. Seldom are there so many hearts on any piece of art, forty in all.
