Love the colors you chose. The pitcher and sunflower show optimism for the future.And you used the same colors on another object. I am delighted with your insight and maturity. Keep going! This reminds me of a still life painting by your Great-grandma Helen that is on display in my home.

Tell me if I am wrong. I am conjuring up a story about your still life. Did you have a choice of objects because I sense a story about the relationship of the world to a pitcher of water, representing food, to a skull , representing lack of food supply? I just love work like this. The more I look at it, the more I see. Great!

Love the freedom of the strokes and lines. It shows you are relaxed while creating. And that is wonderful because you have an idea of the direction you are going.
