Nice work and a very well written explanation of the process.

Hey Dylan - I want one! A sloth, that is, not so much a t-shirt or magnet. Your art sloth is intriguing although it (he, she, they?) looks a bit sad. If I had a sloth, I'd be happy to share it with you. Nice work! Grammy

Oh my, Dylan. If I saw you wearing that mask on Halloween, I'd shut my door and just throw some treats out the window, hoping you would run away. But that doesn't mean your art isn't really good. Art doesn't have to be beautiful to be great. It can express all kinds of emotion. You certainly have done that with your interesting one-eyed mask.

Belongs in the MFA next to the Van Gogh. You are very talented. Gramps

I enjoyed looking at your paper construction of "the king." Did you have someone in mind saying "Me the King"? Someday maybe you will get to the Tower of London to see the real jeweled crowns of English kings and queens. They are quite amazing. Keep making art. You are so good at it.

I just saw this piece of Dylan art. I love it. Could be the cover of a music CD. The shadowing on the face is excellent. It's a very moody piece, open to a lot of interpretation.

This brought a smile to my face. I'm not sure were I to actually meet a Space Sloth, if I would still feel so cheery. Love the colors you chose, Dylan and the creative shape of your creature, against a great starry background. Really fun piece of art.

Looks like original Egyptian art. Very realistic and creative.

I'm impressed with the whole project. Studying hieroglyphics along with portraits must have been fun. You look very royal indeed, Dylan.

Dylan, your Greek vase is excellent. It looks like you did this as an etching. If you ever go to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, you can see some Greek vases there that are hundreds and hundreds of years old. Are you reading the Percy Jackson books? If not, you might like them.

Dylan, you always make interesting color choices. It makes a person look at the art and then want to look again. It draws your eyes back to the painting. I like your assorted pumpkins, too. I wish I had that pumpkin array on my patio. Good job.

Hi Dylan: This is a beautiful picture. I love the colors and the composition. Your use of blending and shading with paint looks like the work of a true artist.

This is as beautiful, Dylan. It's like looking through a kaleidoscope aimed at a colorful flower garden or at a group of butterflies. Nicely done.

Hey Dylan - This may be the weirdest Valentine card I've ever seen … and I love it! I especially like all the mouths - the smiling one, the one with teeth showing, and my favorite - the one with the tongue sticking out (if that is a tongue). L/Grammy

I think you've included a lot of mysterious thoughts in this work of art. Fascinating.

Dylan, I LOVE this. Most often hearts are pink or red but your colors are so unusual, and some of my favorites. You have a really good "color sense" and an "artistic eye." The expressions on your hearts add even more to this excellent piece of art.

I really like this piece of art. I find your picture to be whimsical. Do you know that word, Dylan? It means something playful, in an appealing and amusing way. What a fun "skyline" you have created.

I think you have beautifully captured the feeling of the artist, Henri Matisse. I have visited a museum in Philadelphia that has many many works of art by Matisse. Someday maybe you can go there too. Your choices for the shapes and colors in this piece are wonderful. Good job, Dylan.

Wow, Dylan! I think this is my favorite. Mostly because it's mysterious and a little bit scary (but in a good way.) Grammy

You have a wonderful collection of art - so colorful and you use many different techniques. I can't wait to pick out one for my mug or tee shirt.
