Ezequiel, Tia Ika really likes the color work and weaving. Someday I'd like to learn to weave as I find textile art fascinating. Tim says he wishes he had done something like this when he was a kid.

Ezequiel, I like the clock you put in the sun - very Dali-esque. What memories were you thinking about when you drew this? Tim thinks it's fun to look and think about what memories would have been behind this painting.

Tim didn't know a skull could be so lively :) And I like that you're getting into your Mexican heritage. Feliz dia de los muertos!

Great job on the cupcake. The colors are wonderful, and it looks scrumptious enough to eat. I can't wait to see what you make next. -- Ruthy

This looks good enough to eat, but I wonder what it is really made out of, is this clay or is it a real cupcake? By the way, Wayne Theibaud was my teacher, a long time ago. I was lucky to work with him when I was in college. I think he would like your banana split too! -- Tim and Tia Ika

Ezequiel, This is great work and puts me in the tropics with your brightly colored flowers. I also appreciated your artist statement where you shared your thoughts about the process of making art and what it means to you. Tim thinks its beautiful, especially the color. It gives him a nice floating feeling that makes him think of the bird. -- Tia Ika and Tim

Great looseness of stroke and color palette. Very recognizable as water lilies and a good representation of Monet. -- Tia Ika and Tim
