Dear Sophie, your amazing cardinals are so special! Your attention to detail is outstanding and the red cardinals are brilliant in color! Cardinals have so much meaning. They are of course your school team name, the mascot & name of the St Louis Cardinals' (Grandpa's favorite baseball team beside the NY Yankees). They also have the same name as the College of Cardinals... all wear bright red beanies on their heads (zuccchettos) like your Cardinal Whurl in Washington, DC. Cardinals represent Faith, Hope, and Love (The Cardinal Virtues). It has been said,"When Cardinals are here, Angels are near."
