Loved the collage Sweetie! Your artwork in the foreground sets up the pictures in the background. Both pictures take me to pleasant places. A lake for fishing(with you of course!) and a quiet garden like the ones we have experienced in France or Italy.(hope to do that with you also!)

I have never heard of a “tesselation”, but I like them??. I like the way the geometric shapes interlock. I’m not sure if I’m looking at a gear box or an art rendering!

I love the colors you have chosen. The brown tones on the cross look "rugged and hard"(Just as it was!) The vibrant colors at the perimeter speak to the hope. And the heart on the cross says it all: "I loved you enough to do it ALL!

Is the medium clay? It reminds me of some ancient art work I have seen in the British Museum and photos of middle eastern and Egyptian art from the 3000 B.C. Era.

Loved your St. Patrick's Day art. You might look at the Book of Kells. Those early Irish artists did some pretty good work. And their subject matter was because Patrick told the Irish about Jesus!
