Hi James, ........I like the 3D dimensions and depth you have shown into this play area. It looks like this would be a good play area for small children with only one entrance, and little possibility of any little one getting hurt or gone missing. Perhaps some benches along the sides for parents to sit and watch their children, perhaps marked with white stripes 3-4' from the inside walls? Is the circle near the entrance a sand box? Nicely done, ....BoBo

Hey James, .....good to see you this past Easter weekend. Your latest artwork is a quantum jump in technical achievement for you. I was impressed at first by your 3D drawings of the skateboard ramps, ...but when the figure of a skateboarder started to move across the ramps, I gave you a round of loud applause. Fantastic! And furthermore when the ambulance arrived, collected the victim and drove off exiting the picture, we all went wild. My only improvement I could suggest is to add some color to the 3D drawing scene? .....not necessary if you don't have time? .....really great outcome to see the animation as it is !!! Five Stars!!

This is neat, James, ......the name of your piece is "CLAY", ....are the clouds and trees actually formed with clay? and then painted white and green? If Yes, that gives the clouds and trees "depth", actually rising out of the drawing itself. I'd like to close my eyes, ....and rub my fingers across the drawing and feel the sensation of those objects! .....Nicely Done !

James, ...your artwork is great and seems like you're having fun, too. Your art skills show up all the way back to Grade 2 when you did an eagle and an owl; Grade 3 the perfectly shaped jar filled with butterfly's was especially good at your age. Constellation drawn with Saturn's rings and shape of the Big Dipper stood out. The Agamograph showing good and evil in the same drawing! The chicken using cookie batter on a baking sheet with perfect feet on the chicken. More recently the Zoondoodle was the most colorful with many lines and shapes left me excited and puzzled by the confused designs. What was the message here in this drawing? And I think the overall best artwork was the "Comic" which must be your lastest? I think it is a great facial character, with his hand over his mouth, the colors and various paper cutouts were perfectly shaped, the eyebrows and eyes left me with the impression of facial fear, not comedy. You captured everything in his face, lines in the brow, shape of the nose, the direction of the eyes looking over his shoulder expressing concern. I think instead of "Comic", I would choose "Fear and Apprehension". Over all, your gallery is a wonderful display of your artistic talents; keep up the good work, ...MiMi and BoBo very proud of you!

Hey James, I picked this drawing even though every one of your portfolio drawings is fantastic and shows originality and others blazes of color. This one even looks 3D, and shows depth, it seems to be coming out of the page! I'm going to give it a one word "name" and see if that name is the one that you were thinking of when you drew it. I suggest "snowflake". Would that be what you were thinking? Love it, .......MiMi & BoBo Regardless,
