Today’s date is May 2025 and part of our high school Art final is to find artwork on Artsonia that we really like and yours was one of my favorites! The way the scene is so empty makes it look so mysterious… I also like the way the eye was emphasized by the lines being so much darker and thicker than the others.

I really liked the flower texture you added to the middle of your pottery. The flower engraving adds a lot of captivating detail and definition. Another thing I liked was the way the rings of color affect the movement of your eyes and draw your attention to the flower in the middle.

The rhythm of the art on the mask is very nice, the way the lines move across the mask and the emphasis on the gold shine really brings out this piece, giving it more more meaning and more character. The lack of most familiar things like eyes and a mouth makes it more mysterious too.

I remember doing this project while I was in middle school and I liked doing it as I always liked working with ink. I like the intricate designs that you used while making your patterns.
